Vocabulary to Learn in Term 2
Here are some page numbers for special vocabulary in Tapestry 3 and 4 :
Notes :
1. Try to find a friend to practice new words with every day. Practice old words too!
2. The best way to practice words is to say and write them in sentences or phrases. Then they mean something. Word lists alone won't help your memory much.
3. Word lists are just a summary. Lists are useful as a summary. However, you have to make memory 'hooks' in live experience.
4. Read the pull-out transcripts at the end of your Tapestry books NOW. Books 3 and 4 have more difficult language than books 1 and 2. Check the words and expressions you don't know in the transcripts. Look up their meaning.
