1. Task: Create a dialogue for two or more people.
2. Situation : a discussion between a student and his⁄her parents about problems in choosing a college and a major for study. Show what the student will gain and lose by each choice.
3. Format : This dialogue should show how people discuss their choices and arrive at a conclusion.
4. Language : The language should include words and expressions for choice, gaining advantage, losing opportunities, hope, prediction and regret.
