China has borders with fifteen countries. The purpose of this assignment is to help you, as a class and as individuals, to find out some basic information about these countries. We often think that the relationships between nations is a matter for goverments. However, the people to people relationships are far more important. To develop friendship and respect with people on the borders of China, you must know something about them.
a) Historical Event
Instructions
1. Work in a team of two.
2. Both students must give some part of the written and spoken report.
3. Each team in the class must deal with a different event.
Task
Prepare a short description of some historical event from a country on the border of China and be ready to explain it to the class. Your account should answer at least the following questions:
<> What is the name of the event? <> When did it happen?
<> Where did it happen? <> Why did it happen?
<> Who were the main actors?
<> What was the outcome of the event?
b) Geographical Knowledge
