Phnom Penh, Cambodia (1996) 1/2

Chaos rules in the centre
of Phnom Penh. Here, an
unpaved road.
Amazingly the traffic keeps to
a 30kph limit. Cars may be left
over from the UN Mission.
Murders for motorcyles were
in the news here.
Makeshift petrol bowser. I
saw thin plastic tubes of
petrol snaking across the
road, with vehicles
continually squashing them.
A local laundry with drying
poles on the roof. Electric
tumble driers are hardly an
option!
This school in central Phnom
Penh looks more like a
prison, and it probably was.
Photography was not welcome
A carving factory in Phnom
Penh. Hospital too??
"Sell making medicine up of
men and women's beauty"
Hmm.
