This reflects the experience that most students in the TESOL program need information on the how, why and what of teaching grammar in an EFL environment. The need for this guidance is greater than the need for an in depth analysis of linguistics (which would need a much greater time commitment anyway). Topics dealing with technical models of grammar are therefore limited here. Students are encouraged to explore for themselves, as their interest allows.
