1. As a child, how did you answer the question "What do you want to do
when you grow up?"
2. How have your ideas about "what I want to do" changed since you were
a child?
3. At 50 years old I (Thor) was still deciding what to do when I grew
up. I've changed my mind a few times since. What do you think might be
good and bad sides to this attitude?
4. Is it really a good idea to plan everything? What is a different way
to approach life?
5. What are five jobs you always wanted to avoid? Why?
6. What are some jobs you would like to try but probably never will?
7. Many immigrants to Australia have to do jobs which make little use of
their abilities, skills or training. Why does this happen? Can you think
of a solution?
8. What does "being grown up" mean exactly ? (There are sure to be many
different answers to this).
9. A "bucket list" is a list of the things you wish to do while you are
still alive. What are some of the items on your bucket list?
10. Sometimes we might accuse another person of "childish behaviour".
What are some examples of childish behaviour (in your opinion)
